I’ve started making a series of cushions to activate the communal area in the day center I have been working in. The cushions, quite simply are COSMIC! as in, they are like the cosmos! infinite! each cushion has several different combinations, to be changed throughout the day, soft furnishings need never be dull! This is just a prototype – in the new year I will be working with staff at the day center to screen print pattern and images onto fabric to be incorporated into the cosmic cushions.
